I Love Ambasador by denise m. at InsiderPages
I love Ambassador because Dr. Sam is there. He is one of the kindest, most compassionate vets I've ever had. And I've had many. Ambassador has a separate door for the dogs and cats which is so much better for my sick cat. I was going to both Signal Hill Animal Hospital and Ambassador before Dr. Sam sold SHAH. Now I mostly go to Ambassador. Ambassador is open in the evenings and on weekends so this is very convenient for me as I work an hour away and don't get home till after 6pm at night. Also my cat has renal failure and her status is ever changing. They never make me wait for an appointment, I can always go right in when I need to. Having a cat with Renal Failure has been a very traumatic experience for me. She is my beloved little sweetie and she means the world to me. She is 16 years old. Being able to go in to have her seen at anytime has been such a blessing. I cant say enough about Ambassador.

I do have problems though. I went in back to see my kitty and it was not clean at all. It was very dingy and somewhat dirty. The bathroom in the front was very dirty and some animals didn't have water to drink especially the ones in front up for adoption. The don't make sure the kitty's in frontt have water even on very hot days. I always give them water myself. Also, There is a girl who works at the desk who is not nice at all. She is cold, uncaring and down right mean. Several times when I have come in feeling very worried about my kitty she has been very cold and callous to me, even mean. This has made it so much harder to deal with my kitties illness. But I just try to ignore her and do my best when she is there. I wish Dr. Sam would see how abrupt she is with his clients and get rid of her. The other workers there are all very nice.

Very comforting and caring vet by christine j. at InsiderPages
We have been taking our cats and dogs to this office now for several years and have been completely impressed, consistently with the service. The prices are very reasonable, and they genuinely care about our animals. Our dog had a lump removed that was cancerous, and the vet went out of his way to determine the severity, the options, and even called in an oncologist to give us ideas on what this type of cancer often meant. We will continue to use them for our animals.

Great, Caring Staff, Terrible Vet Doctor
I had a very sick pet who needed great care- which I got from the staff here at this hospital. But the vet doctor was not helpful or clear in his diagnosis or how he expressed it to me. He did not seem to care about my pet and did not make me feel like she was getting the best and most thoughtful care as she was close to death. It was a very traumatic experience- I have had pets die or be very ill in the past and had amazing vet doctors who have helped and showed such compassion during that sensitive time for both pet and owner- but this doctor is not capable of that. I would not recommend taking you pet here if he or she needs any more care but inexpensive shots.
