I Love Ambasador by denise m. at InsiderPages
I love Ambassador because Dr. Sam is there. He is one of the kindest, most compassionate vets I've ever had. And I've had many. Ambassador has a separate door for the dogs and cats which is so much better for my sick cat. I was going to both Signal Hill Animal Hospital and Ambassador before Dr. Sam sold SHAH. Now I mostly go to Ambassador. Ambassador is open in the evenings and on weekends so this is very convenient for me as I work an hour away and don't get home till after 6pm at night. Also my cat has renal failure and her status is ever changing. They never make me wait for an appointment, I can always go right in when I need to. Having a cat with Renal Failure has been a very traumatic experience for me. She is my beloved little sweetie and she means the world to me. She is 16 years old. Being able to go in to have her seen at anytime has been such a blessing. I cant say enough about Ambassador.
I do have problems though. I went in back to see my kitty and it was not clean at all. It was very dingy and somewhat dirty. The bathroom in the front was very dirty and some animals didn't have water to drink especially the ones in front up for adoption. The don't make sure the kitty's in frontt have water even on very hot days. I always give them water myself. Also, There is a girl who works at the desk who is not nice at all. She is cold, uncaring and down right mean. Several times when I have come in feeling very worried about my kitty she has been very cold and callous to me, even mean. This has made it so much harder to deal with my kitties illness. But I just try to ignore her and do my best when she is there. I wish Dr. Sam would see how abrupt she is with his clients and get rid of her. The other workers there are all very nice.
