My recent stay at Citrus Suites during the month of October 2008, was such a memorable and enjoyable experience, that I am planning on a return visit. The Archstone Citrus Suites were fully appointed, clean, well maintained, quaint, charming, and located only a few steps away from Santa Monica Beach, one of the cleanest, and most scenic famous beaches in Southern California. Beautiful sunsets, ocean breezes, swaying palm trees, an outstanding pier complete with Amusement park and Aquarium, Third Street Promenade high-end shopping, famous farmer's markets, and outstanding restaurants all within walking distance, make for an all-in-one resort vacation. The pool, BBQ, patio and garden areas were well maintained and provided a beautiful view from our balcony, when we weren't looking out at our fabulous ocean view ! I used to work for a company that sometimes put relocated executives in Citrus Suites. The service was good, but everyone would complain that the units were too small to be practical for even just a 3-4 week stay while seeking an apartment.
