When making this review you must compare it to all other services available. While Cox may not have the best customer service they do have cheaper Cable packages than ATT or Time warner.

ATT's internet is much much slower than the cox cable and Time warner jacks you when it comes to extra channels with the digital service. Comparable cable packages from ATT are also much more expensive.

While Dish network and DirectTV have modestly priced cable packages, dish is susceptable to lots of outages or not working at all if you are on the wrong side of an apartment complex or have lots of trees around your house. Plus, these services require one to two year contracts, which if you cancel, have huge fees. Cable allows you to start and end service whenever you want without any start up or ending fees.

All in all i've had ATT, Time Warner, and Cox and Cox is by far the best service I've had. I have time warner now and am very dissapointed....

Also, to respond to the review below, I've gone 2 months without paying my bill and my service was still not shut off. Plus, they called me before they were going to do it and allowed me to pay off the bill right there on the phone. Also, my bill was 140 a month with digital cable w/ showtime/internet and phone. For the first year it was 100 bucks.
