I've had dentist phobia for years and was lucky to get a recommendation from a friend about his favorite dentist. Dr Mike's office isn't about herding people in and out of back to back and overlapping appointments. When you're in the hot seat, you get 100% of his time. He is super patient, got a great sense of humor, and just one of those people that puts you at ease. His staff that I've met (Steph and Jackie) are also, again, awesome. Friendly, thoughtful, and you can tell they're happy. Jackie is Dr. Mike's dental hygienist and she rocks - she goes above and beyond most dental hygienists I've encountered. Steph works the administrative and accounting aspects of the office and is absolutely fantastic, not to mention hilarious. This is a practice that seriously wants to make every patient's personal experience that much better.‎

Went in for my 1st root canal and when the novicane wore off, I had "no pain"...and no need for antibiotics...wonderful experience!!‎

He explains everything before he does any work and takes the time to make sure you are VERY comfortable. He is by far the best dentist I've ever been to, and I've been to many! I will never go to anyone but Dr. Downs, I think he's the best! ...
