Staff- 4 stars, except for the Australian guy with the weird haircut. Waaaay too pushy with the personal training pitch. Get rid of him and it's 4 stars!

Never ever a wait for any machines. Enough Bosu balls for a Bosu ball convention and classes are dynamite. The trainers are really into their jobs - they are not just training in hopes of being discovered like some other gyms I've been to. My trainer switches up my workout every single time I go in and consistently takes measurements to make sure we're on the right track. The cleanest gym I have ever been in. No meat market feel - everyone is too into their own workout to stare at anyone else. I was worried that everyone would have perfect bodies being that it's a high end gym, but all sizes, shapes and colors are represented here. I feel comfy in dirty sweats or the latest Dri-Fit gear.

Equinox always smells and looks clean. The locker rooms have lovely jazz music, while the floor has more active rock and roll to help your workout. After an Equifit evaluation to help you figure out your current state of affairs and where you want to go, they will match you with a personal trainer. I've generally had good luck with the trainers, though in the past I wish they had checked up on me when I didn't schedule an appointment. The staff is very nice. Free parking has now been extended up to 2 hours.

PROS: Clean, great classes and facilities, nice locker room
CONS: expensive

Excellent Instructors and Personal Trainers. Expensive, but worth the money for a clean, well-maintained gym. The group fitness instructors are the best in their field.
