I just moved from Chicago in June. I've had my hair done twice by Sean. The first time I went in I was in need of blonde highlights. The 2nd time I wanted to go dark. Both times I received great service from the color to cut. I love my new color. I have never had a stylist who was so precise, yet gentle and leaves me with a great new look every time I walk out the door. I love change but I am also picky. I have not one thing to be picky about with Sean. He is the best! Regarding the salon itself, it's modern and clean and the staff is very friendly. I have yet to see someone walk out unhappy while I'm there. You must check it out!

I'm asian and it's been really difficult to find a salon that could make me lighter without the usual brassiness, until now! I went to this salon yesterday and received the most beautiful blonde ever, I love it. They were able to get me to such a pretty blonde that previous stylists told me was not possible for me. I am now a double process which is a little bit more expensive but worth every penny.

After trying a lot of the "big name" salons in bev hills and not getting what I wanted I decided to head west and try the Gillian Bissett Color salon. I have become extremely allergic to hair color and need someone to work with me that is not only meticulous but knows exactly what they are doing! The color CANNOT touch my skin at all or I have a terrible reaction

Anyways, I found an awesome stylist at this salon, the girl worked like a surgeon not allowing any of the color to touch me :) it was wonderful....such care was taken that I will never leave this salon! She managed to match my hair perfectly along with giving it the best shine ever. Good job!

I called this salon based on the reviews and asked for a color correction expert because I made my hair ash/greenish, and was referred to Terra. She listed attentively to me, and I showed her pictures of the color highlights that I wanted, and it seemed she understood. She made me feel confident that she could remove the green/ash and give me the medium golden brown base with golden brown highlights that I wanted. The lighting in there is terribly artificial, so 3 hours later, after she said that she used a "neutral base" (remember, I said I wanted a golden brown base), it was dark outside and since the lighting in there wasn't realistic, she told me to go home and look at it, and if I needed anything more/less/fixed, to come back and she would do it for free, no problem. I paid $95 for base color, $65 for highlights (not bad, I have shorter hair), and $105 (!) for a haircut! I went home and could not believe that I still had greenish/ash brown base with yellow highlights! I did this myself and that's what I came in to have corrected! I went back the next day and Terra managed to warm up the overall effect, I went home and looked at it - now she covered up all of the highlights and I was left with an overall one color dark golden brown with NO more highlights except for a few yellow ones still peeking through, no shine, dull, drab color! Now I needed to have highlights put back in! I wasn't about to go back there a 3rd time because I didn't think she knew what she was doing at this point and I lost all confidence in her. I couldn't believe she let me leave looking like that and she could be proud of her work. My hair can handle a lot and is still in good condition. However, I felt that I should be refunded for the hair coloring part. I left a message and they said no refunds, but the owner wanted to see my hair. No thank you!-not going back! And the haircut is NOT worth $105.00! And I didn't get a scalp massage like everyone else!

The team that work here are wonderful. They managed to get me in on Saturday much to my surprise, and I was seen by Sean who took wonderful care of me! (and who is also a color educator..). He was very thorough with me and explained what he was doing as he worked on my over processed hair.. After the color I received an awesome treatment from their custom treatment bar, my hair feels marvelous and even looks happier. Good job!
