The Hampton Inn in Carlsbad is conveniently located at Palomar Airport Road and El Camino, close to Legoland and other area attractions. My family stayed here while we were in the process of moving to the area. Although the hotel itself is very basic, the free breakfast and free happy hour were nice. The hotel also offers free wi-fi.
