This is a mom and pop ceramics store like the larger chain one but for a fraction of the price. It's quite in here but you can heighten the volume by bringing a group of friend to paint together. We even brought dinner here and ate it together!

Great place for kids creativity to go wild. They have a great summer camp, too. We've done birthday parties, camps, made gifts for fun or just because. Its great because they have a play area when the little ones can't paint any longer, too. The staff are always friendly, helpful & really encourage the kids. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun crafty thing to do.

This was a great idea, whoever originally thought of it was a genius. Your kids, even you, get to paint a ceramic figurine( or cup, plate, vase, etc.), let someone else clean up the mess, fire it, and return it to you looking as if it was professionally done. They have lots of colors, its has a darling cottage-like feel to it, and there is always someone willing to help. Its an easy, kill- two- birds- with -one- stone solution at gift giving time.

PROS: they keep the mess, relaxing atmosphere
CONS: maybe a bit meager selection of ceramics, $$ a tad pricey
