Great service, great selection, and I feel like family whenever I walk in. This is a comic shop that actually cares about their customers, and is definitely worth a visit!

From where I live now and from where I attend university, Metropolis Comics is not the closest comic store. Despite the detour, I make the extra effort to come here every Wednesday because of one thing, customer service. Though it may not have the selection of the larger store near school, Metropolis far and away has the friendliest employees a customer would want. Whereas the large store is cold and silent cave, where the employees hardly look at you when you come to the check out, Metropolis' employees are always debating comic and film trivia and are always looking for another opinion. Instead of trying to get you out the door as fast as possible, the Metro employees will ask if you need any help (in my experience) three times before you approach the counter. Now, I understand that the experience at Metropolis also requires customers that are also willing to talk about which Joker is the best one, but that is a personal preference and shouldn't be a problem either way. As long winded as I am, the long and short of it is this. There isn't a better comic shopping experience this side of San Francisco and Metropolis Comics should win hands down.

I have recently started collecting comic books such as Supergirl and I have been looking around for specific comics that I wanted. Metropolis Comics was the one comic shop that had the ones I wanted. Their staff are very helpful and very friendly. You can be there for a few mins talking to them about whats going on with the current events in the comic books. They are very knowledgeable and can answer just about any question you can think of about superheroes. I will definitely continue to return to Metropolis Comics for all my comic needs.

Of all the comic shops I've been to, Metropolis Comics is by far the best!! There selection of comic books and collectibles is amazing and their service is unmatched by any other comic shop. As a regular customer I am always pleased with the helpfulness of their friendly and knowledgeable staff. Truly a top notch Comic shop!
