The review by "TS" is preposterous, and libelous. The staff are courteous and helpful, they care about the clients like they are part of the family! PRC is the smallest work activity program around, and is usually filled to capacity - with a waiting list. The Center has been operating at the Penn Street site for almost FORTY years, with the same Director. Many of the clients have been here that long, as well. It is a wonderful place for your child/client/consumer to attend on a daily basis. Please contact your Regional Center for a referral, then to schedule a walk-through.‎

My family and I were thinking about placing my younger brother in this facility so that he could learn to be more independent. We visited the facility and it is clean although it is old and rustic. The woman in charge named Linda is very stoic and impersonable and we got a very bad vibe from her. We have many friends in the area and asked them if they knew anything about this center. One friend said that he knew a young man named Brett that worked there that had put a blue, toilet-tank, tablet on the men's bathroom sink counter as soap. Apparently Brett said that it would be funny to see what would happen. One of the male students used the tablet on his genitals and was screaming to get it off because it was burning him. On another occasion we were told that Brett video taped some of the students and he called one of the female students, "The Beast" and would often show the video tape to friends at beer partys. Needless to say we were not interested in this facility.‎
