Hotel Se is a great botique hotel in San Diego. Rated a top destination by Conde Nast it is very well decorated, the staff is very professional and helpful. The rooms tend to be on the smaller side but well decorated and taken care of. Everything seems new and clean. They have a great rooftop pool, a bar and good restaurant. This is an expensive hotel but the value and experience is pretty good.

This day spa is inside the Se Hotel in downtown San Diego. Have to say I wouldn't have tried it except that I had a Groupon, however, that said I would absolutely go back!
I started with a facial from Alona, honestly the best facial I have ever had. She was a delight to talk to and offered suggestions on how to maintain better skin. (I am the queen of "use a Ponds face wipe and call it good" which any esthetician will cringe at). Obviously the extraction still sucked, but that comes with the territory. I will say it sucked less than other times!
Next up was a massage with Tamara... she did an awesome job working out some of the knots in my back with a deep tissue massage. She was great in that she explained some of her more interesting techniques such as pressure points. Although it was a deep tissue massage and I felt sore the next couple days, at the time I didn’t feel that super intense, holy crap you are massage a hole in my muscle feeling. She has studied Western and Eastern massage and does a great job utilizing them both in her technique.
Each of the rooms has its own shower with sauna which is really nice. Also, they validate parking for the hotel AND you offer a refreshing drink (with or without vodka) when you arrive. Finally, I didn't use the pool at the hotel but my friends made it part of their day at Se Spa and really enjoyed it.
Highly recommend.

Se Spa is a luxurious spa in the heart of downtown. Located inside the beautiful Se San Diego Hotel, guests to the spa are allowed access to the hotel's pool and gym for the day. They also validate their valet parking, which is great with the downtown parking issue.

Really friendly and good looking staff. Super fun pool on the weekends.

We just booked 3 nights - LOVE the vibe here! Suite and Tender's 5 course dinner was FABULOUS! A hidden gem!!!
