Slow and a bit pricey but good quality
The chicken breast plate is good and you get plenty of food. This place is a bit pricey and I think everything is made fresh to order because unless you call ahead you will wait a few minutes for your order.
Place is always busy and parking is a real problem there, but the chicken is never greasy and is very lean - so it feels like you are eating pretty healthy - a great alternative to burgers and fries.

Real french fries!
I had a single burger - it was good sized and you can pick and choose from a lot of toppings so you can customize it. Next time I may try the double if I'm really hungry.
The very best thing is the homemade french fries - they have the skin on and taste like real potatoes - a great change from fast food fries or the fake-y fries a lot of restaurants serve with their burgers these days. A large order of fries is plenty for 2 or even 3 people to split.
We ate lunch pretty early and the place was filling up fast by about 12:15 so I recommend going either before noon or eating a late lunch as the tables were already full by 12:15.
The only downside is that this place has burgers, hot dogs, and fries - there is not a huge menu of items. So, the name fits - don't think you're going to find a salad here.

Good choice for lunch
I have eaten here for lunch many times. Their lunch specials come up really fast and with chips and salsa is enough to fill me up for lunch. The servers are not always the friendliest but the value is good for lunch when you stick the lunch menu specials.
I recommend the shredded beef over the ground beef - and the chicken and pork are both fine.

The chicken breast meal is good!
I have tried the chicken breast meal and beef meal and both were very good. The service was not particularly remarkable as being either very slow or very fast but the side salads were good and you get a lot of food for the money. I think my teriyaki chicken breast was about $10 and it came with macaroni salad (very fresh), cabbage salad (also very fresh) and steamed rice (boring - hard to mess up rice).
I have only been for lunch but I heard the staff say they are going to have a full bar pretty soon so I may try for a happy hour when it opens. I would go back as I thought it was a good value.
